Trust Him In The Storm

storm trust
Ladies southern gospel trio
These songs are mine, given or inspired by God, His word, and my life. I don't play an instrument, so many of these are a Capella, and very rough-- just me, a mic and the computer in my living room. I have a friend that kindly helps me put songs to music sometimes, (thanks, Matt!) so at times you may find a song with a guitar track. That is a blessing!

Story behind the song
We've all had storms in our life. I can give you a list. My Pastor preached a message on Peter, getting out of that boat. This song came from that message, and my meditation.
Lyrics
Trust Him In the Storm Peter's boat was troubled, the storm was raging The winds were high, and billows round them rolled Peter left the boat to go to Jesus And as he started sinking, he thought he heard the Lord.. Chorus: Will you Trust me in the storm now When the winds are raging high Will you trust me in the terrors of a long and lonely night When the storm around you rages, can you still feel safe and warm Can you take another step now? Will you trust me in the storm? Sometime's my life's troubled, like storms are raging My doubts are high, and sorrows round me roll If I steal away to go to Jesus He calms my troubled waters, I hear my precious Lord-- Chorus: Will you Trust me in the storm now When the winds are raging high Will you trust me in the terrors of a long and lonely night When the storm around you rages, can you still feel safe and warm Can you take another step now? Will you trust me in the storm? Bridge: I can trust Him in the storm, He’s been faithful, He’s been true If I keep my eyes on Jesus, I know He will see me through! Chorus: Will you Trust Him in the storm now When the winds are raging high Will you trust Him in the terrors of a long and lonely night When the storm around you rages, can you still feel safe and warm Can you take another step now? Will you trust Him in the storm?
