I initially was going to record this song as an instrumental song but I started making up lyrics while listening to the recording and developed the Home Made Wine story. It is based on my Grandpa Bill who used to make some fantastic home made wine which he fermented in his old smoke house. He used to sneak me a small sip once in a while when I was 9 or 10 and tell me it would make me feel like a natural man ... LOL.
