Robert Baitinger, a songwriter from Germany
For songwriters who dont sing or perform it is extremely hard to make ones mark in the music business because they dont have a platform to present and promote their work. This is more or less the situation that I, Robert Baitinger, a songwriter from Germany, have been confronted with since I started writing songs in 1978. My idea is to complement my songwriting capabilities with the "helping hands" of excellent artists, musicians and innovative producers. In the age of the internet it has become easier to communicate and collaborate with musicians and producers all over the world. I am utilizing the internet and pursuing the idea of a conceptual studio band with a frequently changing lineup of artists. I call this project the "Rob B. Project" since I supply the melodies and/or lyrics of a song and other musicians/producers/songwriters contribute their talents and skills to make it come to life.

Lyrics
How I Know I wake up wondering What you’re doing now I want to sleep and dream of you I go about my day Dreaming anyhow Everyone can see it too Pre-chorus: It doesn’t make a difference What other people say I have to go on Smiling anyway Chorus: I’ll only waste their time and mine If I try to explain Just how I know that I’m in love Convincing them’s not half as fun As me convincing you That’s how I know that I’m in love Today’s another day The moon is going down I’m up and ready for the sun They know what’s going on As I walk through town They know today will be the one Pre-Chorus: It’s the day I’ve waited for And now the time is near To put an end to lonely Soon you will be here Chorus Bridge: Spring is in the air The winter snow is melting Sunshine on the dew The warm winds are helping Chorus Music: Robert Baitinger Lyrics: Gary E. Andrews Vocals / Vocal arrangement: Tara-Lynn Sharrock Instruments / Production / Mix: Bastian Knochel (logischdenker Records)
