Our heart is to follow Christ's example in Isaiah 61 - The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release for the prisoners. (paraphrased) We seek to break down the barriers between God and his people so that they can receive an outpouring of His love and mercy into their lives. Worship has this kind of power.
