Big Sleep is the name of the imaginary 'band/group, that all the music I create with my friend and musical collaborator, Tony Webster goes under. Tony is pictured on the right in the photo; me on the left in the dark blue suit.
Tony is an artist / illustrator, writer of lyrics and stories, song arranger and a mine of information on any subject under the sun . . .
I (David A Briggs) play all the instruments (mostly of the stringed variety), perform all the studio 'jiggery-pokery', sing and dabble a little in the visual arts.

What a great piece! Sounds like 1970's pshychedelic rock. I love that the vocals have absolutely no autotune, what a relief to hear a real voice sing :)
The production is magic, the flute sounds great and the outro with the drums is wonderful. I am propelled back to my teenage years. But this is even better than what I heard then :)

What a fun track, what a trip. Classic sound - I like the contrast between that bright main guitar and the slightly fuzzy bass, and the way you hold off on the drums for the big finish.

Well Tony, here it is, our latest song, hot from the magic machinery in 'David's Multi-Coloured Psychedelic Music Workshop'. Mixed-down to perfection and presented like a shiny black jewel resting on purple velvet in a silver nest, lit by the rays of a golden setting sun.
Great job as always on the vocals and lyrics.
Hope you approve of the image I've 'assembled' for it too.
The letter font is called...'Potsdam'.
Great composition and lyrics. I like the psychedelic vibe and the arrangement, it has kind of George Martin element to it. The twists and turns and styling make it a welcome change from the mechanical production line music that is manufactured for the charts today. I love the creativity and imaginative elements and wish there was more music like this in the mainstream areas.
