Story behind the song
God has brought me so fare. I was sitting down thinking about the old man I used to be, and the man I am today. All I could do is tell the Lord thank you. Thank You Lord for placing on my heart to keep running towards the light despite what my current situation might be. The old man is a mire shadow of the man I am today, the more I look towards the Lord that shadow continues to fade. I looked at my correct situation and how God has helped me and put it on paper. The instrumental just came to me as I was dwelling in the spirit writing the song.
