My full time profession is a school psychologist. For many years I have been playing acoustic 6 and 12 string guitar and have written several songs. It is hard to peg down a genre for me, the best I can think of is acoustic, rock unplugged, singer / songwriter. Story behind the song
This one is dedicated to the Cane River (and surrounding lifestyle/history) I lived by for two years in Natichitoches La, many moons ago. I have had this song on my "fingers" for quite a while but have just now got around to making this recording of it. Acoustic guitar amped and mic'd. along with backing embellishment setting the vibe and ambiance I was looking for.
