Young summer love, the beach, and sweet sounding dual lead guitars. A feel good tune to harken back to the days of youth, and for a moment, forget about the ills of the world.

Story behind the song
I was spending some of my winters at the beach in South Padre Texas, where I would clear out just before March break mayhem was to begin. It reminded me of the summers of my youth at Lake Erie beaches.
Lyrics
Young and wild and free, I headed down to the sea To spend my summer weeks livin' right on the beach And that's when I met her, and right away I was sure Deep in love I did believe I'd never wanna leave Those bright blue skies, her clear blue eyes Those summer skies, her loving eyes But then we woke up that one sunrise and said our goodbyes... We spent those summer days in the waters of South Padre Made love all night long and sang our favorite songs But we knew we'd have to go soon to get back home And today I still grieve that I had to leave Those bright blue skies, her clear blue eyes Those summer skies, her clear blue eyes But then we woke up that one sunrise and said our goodbyes...
