pop punk band from Burlington/Hamilton. We've been through changes over the past 15 years, but haven't lost our spirit of good fun and great music.
martianrebel saw it's first genesis when bass player Terry Marsh and guitarist Mark Stanley started writing songs together in 1997. We went through several different vocalists and drummers, trying to find the right mixture of sound, attitude and musical taste and have worked with great people through the years including Mike Sabourin, Rob Scriban, Phil Irwin, Stan Malus, Mike Forde and Phil Johnson. Our current lineup is the strongest yet wit Chris Szarvas on drums and Mark & Terry splitting lead vocals.

Story behind the song
Mark brought out this song that had been written when he was 18. The basic song structure was solid, but then with Phillip Johnson's influence, Mark added in a chunky "Godsmack" inspired refrain. It has been played live many times since and now is included on our 4 song demo alongside Reality Knox, Party it up! and the Ramones classic Rockaway Beach.
