Story behind the song
After several days I abandoned another song that I couldn't get to work properly, and then this one just seemed to drop out of thin air almost ready-made. There's no rhyme nor reason .............. well there is some rhyme :)

Very nice songwriting there! I like the tune, that is very nice to the ear and the lyrics is something we all can relate to. Imagine this song on a Rod Stewart album, it would become a huge hit!

Such a great song, heartfelt and true. Your vocals are so fantastic, the organ and guitar solo tones are so warm, but I keep listening for those great little bits of lapsteel. And then the bridge comes around and we go to minor just long enough to make the ending seem that much sweeter.

Great lyric and music Tim, but the shining light for me was the vocal, pure and sentimental, without the sticky-sweet sugarcoat, just plain and real. wonderful tune!

Excellent Rock Ballade, with an high potential of hit chances!!! In fact, like Rodz wrote, the melody stays in mind long after the song ended... fantastic! Great arrangement/production, but I have to admit that the voice impressed me to most, great tone and with much sentiment expressed, congrats for this beauty!! :)

Top notch performance and excellent song - great sentiments, the song has a lot of feeling in it. Very nice melody - stays in the mind long after the song has stopped playing. A timeless hit.
