The music of Lee Shapiro, which consists of a variety of styles and genres. I would appreciate if you "liked" or commented on any of the songs you enjoy.
My favorite kinds of music is the kind that surprises you. While I enjoy conventional type songs (verse, chorus, verse chorus, bridge, chorus), I prefer songs that take you on an adventure. This includes jam songs (Grateful Dead), and songs with many detours and lots of dynamics (Rickie Lee Jones, Dave Matthews). Although most of my songs tend to fall into some kind of normal verse/chorus formula, I do tend to try and mix things up a bit. Which is why most of my songs last longer than 4 or 5 minutes.

Story behind the song
In a previous short semi-instrumental tune "Bubba Rhino", I did some experimenting with layered, high harmonies, ala CSN&Y, The Eagles, and Poco. It came out pretty good so I wanted to try it again in a regular full length song. So with a LOT of help from Melodyne (an Auto-Tune type of plugin), I was able to create some pretty good sounding (for me) complex, overlapping, high harmonies.
