My Parachute
Sun sparkling on the snow
Builds inside me a growing glow
A start of something new
Is it right I have no clue
Keep making the paths right on through
Towards the light blinding bright blue
Began to walk but then I flew
In a jet stream straight to you
As the wind under my wings die
You are there to help me fly
And if I crash and run off route
You’ll be there with a parachute
You are there to lend a hand
You are there when my plan won’t stand
You are there through and through
Without you I don’t know what I’d do
Sometimes I soar too high
Until the air is thin in the sky
When I am ready to say goodbye
I see the tear forming in your eye
