I wrote this mostly as an exercise to improve my mixing/production skills and to try out different techniques and ideas I've heard from a lot of electronic music. Not the style I usually make, but why not. More info under "about the song".

A lot of modern electronic music seems to be a lot about build-ups. If you listen with an analytical mind you'll notice there's always something that's keeps the song moving forward, like a synths pitch keeps rising, filter sweeps or the amount of instruments increases. And then when it's reached it's peak it breaks down just to start building up again. This song is influenced by that way of writing. It's basically just two ideas, a melody line and synth riff. That's it. Everything else is just building up.
