Hi! I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. It's been a fun ride so far and I'm still as exited about it as the day I began. Ralph Atkinson

Story behind the song
Originally this was a solo piano piece and I actually recorded 2 versions with just piano and trumpet before I had written the bridge (and intro), but I kept hearing something else, so this, with some lyrics I stole from my younger self, is take 3. :)
Lyrics
Her eyes play a tune on me then she walks...a symphony! my heart dances to the beat of her breast then she's gone...the band takes a rest I scan the room like a radio dial hoping to catch the song of her smile a tune my ears can just fantasize she's like music to my eyes a masterpiece from long, long ago that I remember with my soul I still remember her eyes' gentle hues grey and green with a trace of the blues when will you re-materialize you're like music to my eyes
