A veteran of the New York music scene, Chancius honed his live performance skills playing to crowds in the New York City subway system where he first started selling homemade demos. Fans of his music began to recognize him on the street as the subway musician with the striking vocals and memorable song lyrics. It was at this point that Chancius lent his vocals and song writing skills to the electro-rock outfit Automatic Duo. During his tenure as front man, Chancius toured towns and cities up and down the east coast.

Story behind the song
Chapter 10 - Jazzel tries to communicate with Bando, making one last plea to remind him of who he was and what they once had. The second, groundbreaking release from Brooklyn based musician Chancius, Bando is an alternative rock concept album with a sci-fi twist. Envisioned as an alternative rock opera, the album tells the story of Bando, a young man afflicted with a life-threatening disease. In an attempt to save himself, he volunteers for an untested procedure to meld his consciousness with cutting edge technology. As his story unfolds, the ramifications of blending humanity with machinery are brought to life in sound.
Lyrics
Bando, do you recall the window? Upstairs, where we sat when the wind blows You asked if you could be my hero I said, let's make love in the meadow Jazzel, I can remember your smell You are not something I can expel But now, I am trapped in this strange cell Don't dwell, this is my final farewell Bando, why did you have to let go? You're love, is like a distant e-cho You said, we'd always have tomorrow I see, that was a long time ago
