A veteran of the New York music scene, Chancius honed his live performance skills playing to crowds in the New York City subway system where he first started selling homemade demos. Fans of his music began to recognize him on the street as the subway musician with the striking vocals and memorable song lyrics. It was at this point that Chancius lent his vocals and song writing skills to the electro-rock outfit Automatic Duo. During his tenure as front man, Chancius toured towns and cities up and down the east coast.

Story behind the song
Chapter 7 - Reborn into his new role, Bando considers his place in the universe and what he's become. The second, groundbreaking release from Brooklyn based musician Chancius, Bando is an alternative rock concept album with a sci-fi twist. Envisioned as an alternative rock opera, the album tells the story of Bando, a young man afflicted with a life-threatening disease. In an attempt to save himself, he volunteers for an untested procedure to meld his consciousness with cutting edge technology. As his story unfolds, the ramifications of blending humanity with machinery are brought to life in sound.
Lyrics
I'm a hurricane, I'm a ghost in the wind But I never scream and I never give in I'm a conscious dream, I'm a host without name But I never lie and I'm never the same I'm an after thought, I'm a spark in the wire But I'm everywhere and I dance through the fire I'm an atom bomb, I'm a harmless alarm But I never see, no I never see One, two, three, four Look at all the cities fall One, two, three, four What's the sense of living for One, two, three, four Look at all the cities fall One, two, three, four What's the sense of living for I'm a neutron star, I'm a desert mirage But I penetrate with a constant barrage I'm a submarine, I'm a human's freewill But I act alone and I'm in for the kill I'm a shallow breath, I'm a rhino stampede But I'm insular and I grow from a seed I'm a child's stare, I'm a hand in the sand But I'm never there, no I'm never there One, two, three, four Look at all the cities fall One, two, three, four What's the sense of living for One, two, three, four Look at all the cities fall One, two, three, four What's the sense of living for I'm a devil's suede, I'm an angel's last name But I fly so high and come down like the rain I'm a meteor, I'm a puddle of dung But I have no heart and I have not a lung I'm a tortoise shell, Got the strength of an ox But I'm hidden well and I'm stuck in a box I'm the century, I'm an ember in time But I never feel, No I never feel One, two, three, four Look at all the cities fall One, two, three, four What's the sense of living for One, two, three, four Look at all the cities fall One, two, three, four What's the sense of living for ------- ------- ------- ------- Can you hear me? Can you turn on a light? Cause I'm still right here and I'm ready to fight Can you see me? Can you see I'm alive? Cause I'm still right here and I'll help you survive
