Story behind the song
This song was written in an hour, and was primarily driven by events that inspired the focus to go back to 'old-skool' to teach those who have forgotten about 'Back In The Day'.
DJ Sonic has been on the scene since the early 90's, working parties, studios and clubs for all manner of Club Brands, Radio Stations and Agencies. In 2012, Sonic picked up the mic for the first time and entertained live audiences with his quick-witted, super-smooth delivery all presented with no frills or fake accent! London has been Sonic's home since 2000, and he uses this influence to comment on current topics, history and things relating to East London and the rest of the UK.
