Story behind the song
In January of 2004 I went on a men's retreat for 4 days. It was a time of deeply considering my relationship with the Lord. In fact, it was like looking into a "spiritual mirror" for 4 days. After the retreat came to a close, we were all asked to return in 2 weeks and share how the retreat experience affected us. During that 2 week period, before I returned to speak about my experiences there, the Lord gave me this song, "Oh Man of God". The song was about me and the condition of my relationship with God. I had the opportunity to sing and share the song with the other men when we all got together again. I praise God for this song!
