Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Its been awhile since i've been listening to your songs, so it was great to see that you had a tune posted for the challenge.
When i heard your voice i started thinking about our Healer Moon collab With Michael, Zozimo, Adrianne and Paul. :) Anyway,
I really enjoyed listening to this one. Its a really nice and well written tune. Very nice vocals and guitars.
Excellent work carlo. :)

I immediately recognize you here, your typical sound.
It's full of mysteries and I hear a lot of Celtic influences in it too.
There is an interesting change around 3:00, turning everything a bit upside down. At the end the main theme is coming back.
A unique experience again, that trip.
Nice.

The cool Carlo mystical signature sound. Cool vocals, backing vocals and fxs. Love the lyrics and the stolen pants and whatchamacallits! I like the change up at 3:01, kind of a Led Zeppelin vibe for me. Very cool Carlo!

Yes I'm with Holger there's a bit of Hunky Dory vibe in here which is a jolly good thing IMHO, wonderful chord sequences and awesome sounds (gotta love that tron). Brilliant piece of perfect psychedelia - one of your very best Carlo my man, fabtastic.

A psychedelic (do people still know that word?) sea shanty with stolen pants and loss of whatchamacallit. There's some David Bowie there and your trademark 70's sound with that Greg Lake-like guitar. This is so well produced and arranged, the lyrics may be telling an every day story, but the music lifts that story up to a muscial tale that sounds both medieval and contemporary at the same time. Great work, Carlo!

Especially like the reverse vocal effect going on here. The lyrics are soooo cool too. A unique brand of music styled by Carlo that is captivating. Perfect for the evening theme.
