Story behind the song
I stumbled on this nasty old ditty left in the editing heap and thought it was better than I'd remembered it. Not quite a one minute wonder.More like a two minute mongrel. I would also like to dedicate it to the great Neil Innes. His crooner character on the Neil Innes book of records has always moved me. At times the satire steps aside and it is replaced with a beautiful melancholy. I thank you Neil, wherever you are causing a smile, this one's from just another idiot.
