Grayscale creates lullabies of melancholy and sadness that stem from, and hope to capture the fragility of alienated introversion, as well as the pain of it all
Created officially in 2014, Grayscale creates a possibly somewhat unique blend of goth music, ambient and drone that sees among its chief influences as Twelfth of Never, Tearwave, and All Hope Lost, though plenty of other artists have shaped the palette such as Stars of the Lid, Hammock, Burzum, Nocturnal Depression, Olafur Arnalds, Funeral, and Our Skylight Assembly.
Operating under an idea of complex emotions and experiences recreated in simple sonic, melodic motifs. The thought being there is no reason to muddy that which is already murky.
