"It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey." Revelation 10:9
Lyrics
EAT MY WORDS Take my words seriously Or don’t take them at all. This is my desperate plea; This is my final call. Take the key to the Kingdom Or stay wrapped up in shame. There’s a new Heaven to come, And it is yours to claim. Voices from the wilderness Echo on down through time. We all would love to confess, But pride’s our major crime. You can dwell in the darkness, Or you can seek the light. Toss and turn with all that stress, Or sleep right through the night. It’s an open invitation, All-you-can-eat buffet. No long-term initiation; Your dues already paid. No need to be sad, No need for dismay, No look of sorrow, No sorrow displayed. Rejoice and be glad For this is the day, This is the day That the Lord has made. For from Him And through Him And to Him Are all things delivered. For from Him And through Him And to Him Glory springs forever. Take my words seriously Or don’t take them at all. This is no fable, No allegory. Those who are able Will heed His story. Copyright © 2014 Lex Zaleta
