IEH Ieh pronounced 'E' was born and raised in New York. She is a versatile lyricist with a commanding stage presence. She is what I would call, electric! A poet by nature, Ieh's lyrics are powerful and compelling. She has exciting story's to tell and you just want to hear more. She writes on the philosophy of life and her tone and delivery is like something out of an old skool rap jam, back in the days of the basement jump off's in New York. Her influences and inspirations are great poets and musicians such as; Last Poets, Sonia Sanchez, Mos Def, Slick Rick, Otis Redding, Lauryn Hill, Rah Digga, MC. Lyte, Bob Marley, Nikki Giovanni and Paul Simon. Ieh is a busy girl. She has just completed a Performing Arts Major and is currently performing at the hot spots of New York, during in which time, she has been travelling across the Atlantic to perform on London's circuit, complete her album and complete tracks for the Seismic Sounds compilation. Her hits include; 'Feelin U', 'Party Song' and 'Place That'. Ieh, hot on the mic, hot on the stage and to see her live is an experience that will stay with you forever.
