Story behind the song
I was asked to tab the lead at the end of the tune. This helps explain it.

Guitar Solo Tab from 2:09-2:37 (Tune is 0:00-2:37) Key of C# (Db) ======================================================================== I looked at a few of the chord tabs online. They all seemed to kind of overly simplified, Just simple major and minor chords. I think the chords below sound better, more "piano-like" and aren't really any harder to hold or switch between. It's hard to get a chord exactly like it sounds on a piano with its greater range of high and low notes available, but I think these chords work pretty well. The rhythm using these chords is sort of like "one-and-two three-four." C#maj7-and-C#maj7...F#maj7-G#7..... Intro: C#maj7 (twice); F#maj7 (or use C#sus2sus4/G#7sus4); G#7 446564=C#maj7; x98666=F#maj7 (or G#7sus4=464644); 464544=G#7 E||---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|- B||---|---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|- G||---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|---|--C#maj7 (twice, with slight beat between) D||---|---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|-- A||---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---- E||---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---- E||---|---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|- B||---|---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|- G||---|---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|---|---|--F#maj7 D||---|---|---|---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---|-- A||---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|-x-|---|---|---- E||---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---- ...or use (easier)... The solo below is broken down into eight phrases or pieces. I thought it might be easier to work on one little piece at a time. I tried playing the sequences of notes in different locations trying to find what I thought was the best place to do it. And of course they could all be played in a couple of different places, but I tabbed the one I thought best. The last section seemed about equally easy played in two locations so I tabbed them both, so use which ever one feels/sounds best. I added a few "V" and "~" for vibratos in some of the places where I thought they sounded more pronounced, but there was some vibrato on some other notes as well. Just play them as you think sounds best.
