Story behind the song
Thinking about the joy of music – playing and/or listening. The thrill of hearing that song that just makes you want to celebrate or writing that tune that seems like a gift from the gods. The really special music comes along very seldom. Hopefully, it happens more than once in a lifetime… but you get the idea. basically ended up being about music appreciation in general. where would I be without music...? oh yeah, the tag is in layers.
Lyrics
I spend my days looking for you And end up getting in deeper All I hear is the bridge down a third And I’m a believer So wonderful is the old sound On the radio I like a feel of the skins in rhythm I dance to the tune of a million things Exotic machine Quixotic and clean The point is the fun And the function is form The tag is in layers The feeling is free You had me hooked on the singers The truth be told Your overture is Objet d'art To have and to hold Will I ever forget music I heard many years ago I wonder if I'll be able to go without it a whole day Between the black and white notes Will I ever forget music A chord, melody and rhyme I wonder if I could ever be sure without making changes To hear it once in a lifetime I like to play - I shall ever listen I spend my days - just once in a lifetime I like the pomp and the glory I like the sound and fury I hear it once in a lifetime

Yes indeed, a very cool and enjoyable song.
I remember this one from Larry's showcase - as soon as I heard "the bridge down a third" it all came back. A great subject for a song, done in memorable fashion (especially when I with my horrid memory can remember it!)
