Lyrics
Those Days Are Gone Now Music: Steve Domer; Lyrics: Scott Loveall (modifications by S. Domer) copyright 2014 Yes I remember That cold gray December You and I sang by the fire It's too hard to forget That first night that we met And all those songs that you inspired But those days are gone now And I sit and wonder how Your eyes were so enthralling I found myself falling Deeply in love with all your smiles Something deep inside me Could not be denied me Found someone warm, free, and wild But those days are gone now And I sit and wonder how They vanished with your promises You broke my heart one spring morning Left me with only emptiness And too much time has passed us by And all that stayed behind were echos Of love songs and goodbyes But those days are gone now Yes I remember Three years this December How we laughed and loved, and shared Too bad that we can't try it But my heart won't buy it It's fragile, and I'm still running scared But those days are gone now And I sit and wonder how They vanished with your promises You broke my heart one spring morning Left me with only emptiness And too much time has passed us by And all that stayed behind were echos Of love songs and goodbyes But those days are gone now Yes, those days are gone now Yes, those days are gone now
