Lyrics
I got my ear to the ground, I got my nose in the air I got my eyes open wide, I got the wind in my hair its one step at a time, brother can you spare a dime, for me, its a hard road there are whispers in the wind, there are voices in the sky there is laughter in the rain, there is sorrow you can buy softly my heart sighs surrounded by a wall of lies on this hard road forgive me if I seem to stray aint no sign to show the way back home, back home I see your face when I close my eyes, for an instant my heart it flies down this hard road standin at the end of the line every moment begins to shine, to shine la la la la la la la la down this hard road

Always a treat to hear you play w Dan. This is about the sweetest song about a hard road that I've heard. Done as only you can. Bravo!

I knew you would not be on the sidelines for long. New gear sounding good. I see that comes with a drum machine built in. Is that the onboard drummer or some other approach? In any case quality is strong as ever and song is very good. And as always like the sounds of the bass coming through. Great work and like the strings and additional trappings. Song vocals strong as usual and like the overall feel/melody to the song not to mention the guitar solo perfect. P.S. I have not dissappeared but day job is taking its toll.

Lovely song Gabe, so good to hear you recording again! Your new recording gear sounds fantastic! Perfectly performed and written. Love the arrangement - the guitar, strings and keys are great and your singing, as always, is superb.
A new piece of kit can sometimes be just what you need to inspire. Love the smooth bass sound. Great production for a great song, Gabe.

Great sounding track! How do you like the COSM sounds of the BOSS unit? The lyrics and vocals are superb and the music is also top shelf. Nice to hear you recording again. :D

Here you are back again my friend, with a brand new BR1600, congrats to you my friend! :) Another great song from one of my preferred songwriter on SC, that distinctive vocal so exactely modulated is a Trade Mark of Gabe Stenziano, sure, and I love it!! Nice lyrics as always professionally projected into the song, your son once again on the keyboard gave the colorations and freshness. Guitar lead fit like a glove! Really good one Gabe, I enjoyed your "Hardroad" really much! :) PS:I particularly loved the sound of the acoustic guitar ( cool placed in the mix) ..... perfect!

Hi Gabe. Nice production via the BR 1600! Really nice track. Guitar and keys sound really good. Very nice vocals and harmonies, as usual. Nice arrangement and rhythm track. It's cool your son is playing keys with you - very nice!

Really impressed with how fast you were able to switch from the Fostex to the Boss and pull off such a great recording. Of course, it's the song itself that makes it shine. Dan's keys are ace and i love the vox and lyrics. The guitar sounds full and rich...and your bass is always so smooth and on the money. Excellent new tune!
