old lyrics, new music - jazz/blues - Tim Lowe on sax
rock piano vocals harmony funk jazz instrumental blues experimental rhythm and blues improvisation multi genre
Hi! I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. It's been a fun ride so far and I'm still as exited about it as the day I began. Ralph Atkinson

Lyrics
A lover's moon in January where were you in May? you shoud've been shinin' on me and my baby but rain fell and washed our love away I'll bet you were shinin' down in Shanghai I bet you were shinin' in Rangoon but now here you are in the middle of the lonely winter and all I can do is croon ahh, you lover's moon, you you lover's moon Now it may be lunacy or it may be true that love has a dark side just like you sometimes shinin' with heavenly grace and sometimes you hide your face but when love comes around to shine again I know, I know you're gonna be my friend shinin' your love light down on over my shoulder and I'll see you reflected in her eyes She would be here if you'd only been there ahh, you lover's moon, you
