Another 80's-ish power pop/metal song

Lyrics
I'm a desert, she's a jungle
I try to beat that old familiar struggle
The innocent is getting nervous
The cannibal has found a place in the sun
Out in the sun
Intoxicated
My breath is bated
I really hate it but I have to accept
When I'm with you
If I touch you
It can burn my finger like a cigarette
She don’t need a lot of love and affection
She don’t need a lot of love
She wants Bright lights (big city)
But her Bright lights are blinding me…
The Trojan pony has gone electric
The vapor trail that just might light up the sky
Glitter in the sky
Over-heated
You're all I needed
I can't repeat it but you made it clear
I'm only human
You're just a woman
But when you're gone I disappear
Ultra-sonic, gone and done it
She never wanted love and affection
Lock and load it, sugar coat it
Never noticed all that you want is those Bright lights...
Who are you, where do you go
What does it mean, I really don't know about you
Who are you, where do you go
What does it take to ever get out of your bright lights
No picasso, she's a lotus
Would never notice any love and affection
Lock and load it, sugar coat it
And I know it - all that you want is those bright lights...
I have no idea how many times I've listened to this (it's a lot) but it's fresh every time and stays with me long after. Those big, angular vocal harmonies and the daring guitar parts come together in way that's just right for the song. Turn this one up!
