Story behind the song
I was living in Salt Lake City, UT, many years ago one summer. My wife and I lived near the county fairground and I got to thinking, what if Jesus came to the county fair.

But word soon got around
Jesus Christ was coming
To the outskirts of this town

Had an extra visitor

Yes, Jesus came to the county fair

At this county fair

The next thing I remember
He was floating up the air
Waving bye to all of us
