exploring the multiverses sound by sound and word by word
Story behind the song
story behind the song: due to my own stupidity ended up downtown after both the market and the ltc "store" had closed. walked back to queen and richmond and waited for 21. at first i didn't notice her in the stop's hut, but i did hear her once or twice, from a good distance. she was quite good looking, not quite to my taste lol, but the nuances and emotions she displayed, had me start "writing" this at the stop and the way home. almost positive my fiction was not her reality but one never knows
Lyrics
she looked so serious
talking to that phone
eyes were so mysterious
like the ones you own
her hair was the wrong colour
but it seemed to match her face
once on the bus i saw her
i've never been the same
and her voice was risin
like wind in a summer storm
like lightning her eyes were flashin'
just before the downpour
she was lost in conversation
with someone i'll never know
lips moving in sensations
the nether regions grow
her brow was kind of furrowed
almost freshly plowed
time was stalled or borrowed
seconds lost in crowds
and her voice was risin
like wind in a summer storm
like lightning her eyes were flashin'
just before the downpour
she never once considered
her effect on me
the way she moved and twittered
sensual harmonies
like half remembered instances
i have of watching you
i tried to count the differences
but there were way too few
and her voice was risin
like wind in a summer storm
like lightning her eyes were flashin'
just before the downpour
some lucky man she regrets
just some lucky man she regrets
some lucky man she regrets
like in that song, a lake effect
some lucky man
some lucky man
some lucky man she regrets
like in that song, a lake effect
