Story behind the song
I always loved those great theme songs from old western movies and TV shows, but never wrote one because such heroes generally only exist as fiction. Not so with Raoul Wallenberg. In a truly black and white circumstance, he gave his life and rose to the occasion with his incredibly daring exploits, saving countless numbers of Jews from Nazi gas chambers by providing them with Swedish passports. It was never known whether he was killed outright or languished secretly in a Russian prison. Strangely enough for a while, after releasing this song, Google searches started associating my name with the fact that in 1748, Swedish King Frederick founded the Royal Order of the Seraphim.
