Sadie The Laundromat Lady
A happy little number about a woman and her clothes. Words and Music by Uni Boi. All instruments by Uni Boi.

Story behind the song
I use to wash my clothes at the corner laundromat every week. Some of the times a middle aged woman would come in with a crap load of clothes. She seemed to know everyone in the place and all the laundromat attendants knew her. It seemed like a social event for her, a chance to get out of the house, see her friends, and have some alone time. It seemed that whenever I saw her she always wanted to use the same machines and dryers. I just developed my version of her story and wrote a song about it.
Lyrics
SADIE THE LAUNDROMAT LADY
(Verse 1)
She walked through the door her eyes aglow
she's in Heaven
her favorite washers are free
she lay claim to Speed Queens 1 thru 7
After the washer has stopped she opens the top
all the while she's singing
and isn't too shocked as she digs through the sox
and finds theres one missing
(Pre Chorus)
Standing there with her basket of clothes
she's the one that everyone knows.
(Chorus)
Sadie the Laundromat Lady
loads the machine and shuts the door.
Sadie the Laundromat Lady
hasn't a care anymore
(Verse 2)
After the drying is done and the folding has begun
She can't help but feel sadness 'cause she's gotta get back to the house 6 kids,a dog and a spouse
She hates being trapped in that every day madness
(Chorus)
(Brg)
She can't wait for the day to hear her husband say
"Uh honey I need me some clean underwears"
(Chorus to end)
