When God gives you a gift you have two choices: Use it for your own glory or share it for His glory. The latter is better.

Story behind the song
The Olivet Lutheran congregation has been very supportive of me since the loss of my mother in 1984. She had served as church secretary there in the years just prior to her passing. She was a musician herself, playing violin and organ when her father, the late Rev. Harry Craddock, was leading his ministry in Kansas. I thank Olivet for embracing me and nurturing my musical gifts at an early age. This song is just one tangible thank you for being much more than just my church family.
Lyrics
Where He leadeth I will follow Where He sendeth, there shall I go Whatever He needeth I will surrender All that He tells me so Seek ye the Lord and surely you'll find Him Knock, and the door shall open to you Ask in His name and it shall be given For His Word is truth Lo, the God of Jacob is with us Going before us, awesome His sight If He is for us, who is against His power and glory and might Where He leadeth I will follow Where He sendeth, there shall I go Whatever He needeth I will surrender For I love Him so Copyright 1992 by John Scott All rights reserved nationally and internationally by ASCAP (Use by permission with credit to author)
