Another cover of a totally fabulous song by The Orange Alabaster Mushroom. Psychedelic Pop at it's very best. Greg . . .you're a genius. File under: Psychedelic Pop/Rock
retro guitar based psyche

An 'Invisible Band' project.
This is a Major Snagg / Big Sleep 'side project', to create and record mostly high power psychedelic type of material (covers and originals). . . Full Tilt Psychedelia . Just as XTC briefly became The Dukes of Stratosfear, so have Tony and myself become The Lykes of Wytch . . . but probably only briefly . . . well maybe not !

Story behind the song
Starting with a tasty bit of pre-echoed vocals this song develops into a full blown psychedelic work-out. The verses had me puzzled until I realised they were in 3/4 time ! oh boy, I had a load of fun playing and recording these songs.
Lyrics
Oh, you can pick 'em up I'm sure.

Very nicely done, David. I don't know the original song, but you do a great job sounding like a British psychedelic pop band from the 1970's. The production is exactly as you would expect it to sound in those days. A great trip down memory lane :)

I not familiar with Greg Watson so i've never heard this one before, but your version sound really good too me. Really cool change at around 02:14 where it change to 4/4 and then a bit later goes back to 3/4. Very nice work on the guitars and vocals. Excellent work!

Psychedelia at it's classic best David, haven't heard this tune before but you present it with brilliant musicianship and vocals. After this enjoyable cover I will definitely have to give Greg Watsons album a listen!

Another great job in performing this ultra cool song and doing it with coolness. Nice surprise change at 2:14 mark with a different groove. Your vocals have a nice thick, warm timbre - nice work!

Never heard any of the originals before, so it's quite an education for me. It's strange how some songs don't immediately appear to be in 3/4...and yet they are. Great job on the vocals, guitars and effects!
