Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Story behind the song
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. 'Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!' He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought - So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought. And as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came! One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back. 'And thou hast slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy. 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.

a totally wild piece of music. love the title and the attack of the music. some interesting changes as well. great listen.
A most powerful song, Carlo, with the wonderful sounds of the historic Celtic past. Your tempo changes are effective for the desired mood. And, as always, your playing is outsanding.

You are throwing me back in the 60's-70's. I think you picked up a lot of musical inspiration out of that time. I hear Progressive Rock and Folk, but both genres stay separated (changing). And this is again the typical Carlo-style (sound) which nobody COULD imitate. A new adventure. Ah, that guitar on the end sounds very Mike Oldfield. Good job!

Uncategorizable, unconventional, unhinged, this tune is all the uns! Fantastic work in every sense of the word Carlo - one of the big highlights of the night and a wild psychedelic thrill ride. Brillig!

Man i had no idea where this was gonna go with that intro...the tones caught me off guard! Then it morphs into those changes..and more changes..and a smorgasboard of beats, keys, tones...wild!! You've a great imagination Carlo and it's a talent to get it from your mind into a tangible entity like this. Psychedelic and fun!

Superb fusion of styles - prog rock meets Celtic. Riveted by the arrangement - love all the changes and twists and turns, definitely kept me hooked right the way through. Fantastic retro sound.
I was hooked just by reading the song title. A mysterious prog romp that had me wondering if Syd Barrett was hiding around the corner. Perfect music to prep for battle against the Jabberwocky.

You have a fantastic ability to recreate the sound of the early 70's in your music. This piece has some early Pink Floyd and you almost expect Greg Lake from ELP to start singing on top of it, at some points. Very nice tunes and song structure. The organs and guitars are magic!

Groovin' hit for the Celtic challenge Carlo! Man, those organs give the chills. Neat change at 2:00, and back at 2:52 - nicely arranged!
