Story behind the song
We've long known the Arctic is melting. But extreme weather, stalled jet streams, methane clatherates melting, tundra methane emmissions are all tied to global warming and the Arctic is key to all of this. In a recent Radio Ecoshock show, Paul Beckwith of the Arctic Methane Emergency Group warns of rapid, sudden and near term catastrophic climate catastrophes and discusses how extreme weather is resulting from this melting, which is disturbing the jet stream and causing Polar Vortex type weather. He is scared, and you should be too! We need global action NOW, as we are hurdling over tipping points and there will be NO GOING BACK!
