Story behind the song
JBBQ thought that the World did not need another recording right now of "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" with the beautiful, but very well know Melody. (See YouTube for song versions if by slim chance you do not know this song already). Therefore, Dr. Bob and the JBBQ "Guys" have always wondered how this song would sound if an arrangement were done without the familiar Melody - using just the music foundations of Basic Chord Structure played with some standard Jazz instruments. So, as a song experiment and an improv recording, we combined FOUR Pianos with Bass and Drums. We hope that the final result has the happy Butterfly type fluffy "sounds" and "feelings" which one might enjoy if, after "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" - an elusive and historic Music Rainbow was finally caught!

I remember this from the movie 'Ziegfeld Girl' and how Judy Garland made such an impact with it.. great rendition of this classic!
