Kidd Lucci (Lawrence Boddie) was raised in Atlanta,Ga. As an only child, his love for music came from listening to old school music, and impersonating legendary artists. By the age of 13, kidd had developed a strong interest for music. In the summer of 2002, kidd joined a high school quartet dubbed "lyrix". Also in the group Keith Boyd(KEEF), A close relative. KEEF grew up in the Summer Hill community in Atlanta,Ga. He had turned to the group as an outlet to his inner artistry. This experience gave them both insight to the side of music they had never known. Things like pitch, harmony, and key signatures were all new, but quickly learned. In the winter of 2004, the group seperated, but Kidd and KEEF continued to colab on beats and songs. Now that they had more musical insight, their music would be flawless. Kidd Lucci quickly learned drum pattern software and begin to loop beats together. What was at first " boom-de-bap-bap...is now a big big bang" says the 19 year old musician. "Im not no rapper... imma musician" he wipes off his 280$ BURLEY Rope chain.
