Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
In the down-at-heal, post-war England of the late 1950's, the young mild mannered William escapes his dreary Northern work-a-day existence through his passion for playing 'twangy' guitar tunes. One eventful rainy November evening, 'hot-wired' to his big red guitar and homemade valve amplifier, his life is quite literally transformed. A freak boost in the power supply and a slightly faulty cable, sends a shockwave of multi-coloured electrical energy through to his fingertips. At that very moment, he becomes Guitarboy . . . a futuristic Guitar Hero with awesome musical powers. Armed with a shiny new atomic space-age guitar (and a cool hairstyle), his snappy modern guitar music cuts through the dull monochome world to reveal one of sparkling colour and excitement. A 'Brave New World' where almost anything is possible for everyone. A world of 'Ultra-colour' . . . "Thankyou Guitarboy", the happy population cheer ! "hip, hip, hurrah" With very special thanks to Bill Nelson for constant inspiration and musical delights.
Lyrics
"They make their own electricity" . . .from the old British B/W ghost story film, 'In The Dead Of Night'.

Following the comments on transformation 2, here's some more enjoyable guitar melodics - it makes me think of shadows in steroids. Fine pitch shifts and guitar effects. Great playing !

Just like the other transformation, this is outstanding guitar work, spiced up with some sfx and spoken word statements. The mix is awesome and the musicianship is top class! Really great work.

These 2 tracks stood out for me on the night - great sounds, awesome tones and I love that experimental feel mixing different samples and fragments to make an intriguing whole. Yes I can hear Mr Nelson's influence here but this is definitely your own original sound. Excellent stuff!

The Parker Fly and Rickenbacker are sounding brilliant here - they really do grab your attention. Love the oddness of the vocal interjections and the effects - captivating stuff...and that last line, lol...brilliant!!
