Story behind the song
Pardon the mistakes in this short little song. I just did a quick recording so that I would remember the melody when I go back and work on writing a longer piece. As for the story behind the song, I've been losing bits and pieces of my sanity for a while now, and most of the person that I was even a few years ago is long gone. When you're left with no motivation or desire to be a driven, functioning individual, you eventually just want to live in the shadows and succumb to its emptiness. I'm close to that point now and there probably isn't anything that can be done to stop it.
