Story behind the song
Opioid Opus: The Bittersweet Sleight is the aural representation of the highs and lows of painkiller addiction. Made by addicts, for addicts (mainly), this might also serve to give non-users a slight idea of the emotional roller coaster that is opioid addiction.
This Opus is not an anti-drug statement, rather a representation of a life which yields to little more than the cycle of Bitter and Sweet, Hot and Cold, Happy and Sad, High and Sick.
