Matt "Rico" Reed was born in Milwaukee, WI. on March 25th, 1994. Growing up, Rico was raised by his single mother who had to deal with hardships, sometimes in his life he didnt have anywhere to live. So in a sense he grew a bad temper and struggled often with have a short trigger. To tame his temper, Rico began to write poems that evolved to rap. He originally started rapping at 11 but has been making poems and sngs since he was 6. He began performing and recording at the age of 14. Although never signed to a record deal, Rico created created his own label entitled, "Crew Music Records" or CMR. At the age 16 Rico has released three mixtapes,"Lights Out: The Leak", "The Best Rapper Alive", & "The Best Rapper Alive 2", In 2010, Rico also released "Inpsiration" & "Legacy" In 2011, he released the mixtape entitled "King Of The City". -After a year's hiatus, Rico came back in late 2012, and released the "Evolution EP" a short preview to his album and mixtape that would arrive it 2013. - In the Summer of 2013, Rico released "Real Rap" single. The single got over 100 downloads and even greater likes for the old school stlye; the Rico released his come back mixtape State of Mind which featured productions from Genreal Beats and A. Silver. The tape received positive reviews and began to build more of a southern fan base (such as Miami and Orlando, Fl.) After State of Mind, Rico began to produce and write for his 9 track EP, Unconscious Behavior which released November 22nd, 2013.
