All of the material is written, produced, mixed, and performed by one person...a lot of work, indeed! Pending on which instrument the song begins on typically shapes its outcome/genre. There is lots of variation here, by design. However, the future material will aim a bit more at the blues-rock stuff that gets me going...with a touch of keys. Truth be known, I started out on the organ/piano when I was young and enjoy sitting back and playing on the black and whites. However, the Strat and me have this thing about innovating over a funky bass.

Story behind the song
I wrote hundreds of pares in graduate school, spending a lot of time- in between -writing songs. And, it occurred to me that I'm constantly writing papers and/or songs. The bottom line is: I wrote a song about writing a song (and a paper). Interestingly, one of the intersections is that not everyone will read/listen to one's work when they are finished. In fact, many might not like it; get it; understand it; etc, etc.. However, this is not a cause to stop creating. At this junction, I just keep writing/creating; putting them out there. You'd be surprised, the stuff one might not have placed in public view might oft be a favourite. Ultimately, that's why I decided to put this one up there. It's kind of raw; kind of polished; moves quickly; shuffles in the middle.
