Story behind the song
It is based on Psalm 139 v.1-18. The chorus is essentially verses 6 and 7. You can see the rest of the text paraphrased in each verse. I've always loved this Psalm and haven't found a modern interpretation of it that I like so I wrote one.

Your love is wonderful, my glorious Lord, I can not be lost to you,
all knowing God.
