BigLatinPapi(BLP-El Padrino)- Signature Style is SalsaRap
BigLatinPapi is BLP-El Padrino the latin Godfather. I've been doing several styles of music with Latin influence and my signature style is SalsaRap. In 1988 I was writing parodies and recording from one Box to another box with a mic (LOL) just for fun. Always trying to put Spanish in verses somehow. Later on in the early 90s, I started to write complete Salsa songs (lyrics) and saving them. In 1994 I wrote a song called El Uuuiii Uuuiii and was able to finally perform it in front of special guess, Maelo Ruiz, in 1998. The song was then remixed by using "Oye Como Va" from Tito Puente as one of my first Tributes. In between that time I performed at several International Festivals in Fayetteville, NC and continued to refine SalsaRap by mixing and remixing famous songs as tributes. In late 1998, I was finally able to get a CPU and some Recording SW where I could start mixing and mastering my own music. I became a member of AcidPlanet and started putting out some of those recordings. To put it plain and simple, I am the Platinum standard and king of SalsaRap. Many of my tributes will not see the light of day but I will try to get some out for real fans of Salsa and Rap music. Besides doing SalsaRap, I was able to also do Reggae Dancehall Latino, that is what we Panamanians call Dancehall Reggae to include Reggaeton. Being able to change my voice to sound like Shaggy, El General, and others let me experiment with that style and I still do it to this day. I also did some Merengue and other styles. With help from Salsero Victor Vega, we were able to top the Latin R&R Billboard in 2004 with "Me Dices Que Te Vas." I do this style for fun nowadays and have been the only Panamanian with that has been able to get permission to remix "The Hustle" in ChaChaCha Rap in 2017 which I will rerelease soon and "Earth Angel" which is currently available in the United States as a Bachata Reggaeton with my long time friend A-3 on the main vocals. I will continue to experiment and release music when and if I have time. Hopefully you will continue to listen to my material and leave your comments. My greatest wish is to be able to release the SalsaRap Masterpiece collection that I have put together over the years. There is so much more that I want to do but it's hard to do it without major help.

Story behind the song
I'm oldskool and I know there are a lot of people out there that use to watch the G1/G2 and so forth so I did a tribute song integrating the names of them within my verses. I tell you, it was not easy. I was trying to get a hold of a G1/G2 music composer for some possible future collab. Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy the track cause like I said, it was not easy doing the verses as well as all the voices, beat, editing, etc.
Lyrics
Just listen to the song and pick out the names.
