Story behind the song
"Superstar" was written by Kevin Dozier of Dallas, Texas and recorded by Nebuilah in 2011. It was recorded and produced by a local New Jersey producer, DJ BeatRida of East Brunswick, NJ in 2011. Nebuilah released it under her first stage name, "Coley Cain", and travelled to Miami, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Los Angeles, California to promote the hit single. Pending the success of the record, Nebuilah wanted her stage name to be something more unique, and changed it from "Coley Cain" back to her first and middle name, "Nicole Adaeze". She finally chose "Nebuilah" in June 2012.
