I remember hearing this one over at the club, great retro feel, the perfect tune to reminisce, this could have easily been a hit back in the day, hell, why not NOW, awesome stuff!
Great Musician and Friend Gabe - this is another truly outstanding song from exceptional vocals to instrumental backing. The lyrics are supreme as well as the mixing - with extraordinary sound quality. This song was one of the very very best for the September 2013 CBC Time Travel Song Challenge. And thank you for the dl of this memorable song!

Hi Gabe, Wow you sure nailed the genre. Sounds like right out of the period. And even you are not old enough to have lived this too much. LOL Excellent rendition and ending is screaming 50s do wop. Well this would have been a fun genre to tackle and you have done it masterfully. Nice work.

Yep I think your time machine is on auto-pilot, set straight for '54 Gabe! Fantastic doowop tune lovingly created and topped off by your wonderful golden voice. When the Beatles show up you'll need to give them a few tips!
This brings so many smiles, from the spot on production and writing to the joy of innocence. This song is a fantastic time machine.

As I said at the challenge, from the intro on I was grinning from ear to ear, bobbing my head, and tapping my foot! Great song, always velvety tenor vox, and great production! Superb music my friend!

Big smiles for this journey back to the 50's (probably it would be a hit then) :). Perfect vocals and the clean guitar bass line plus the organ gives the righ 50's feel. Excellent song Gabe.

Now this was a time in the USA (they tell me) when life was simple and youthful. Jukeboxes, bobby socks and doowop street groups. Wow! You captured the moment beautifully in this track. Your singing was right on. I loved it. The 50’s melody theme was sensational. The ending vocal harmony was magnificent. What can I say, this one was definitely the highlight for me last night. What a great retro destination in time. Bravo. Bravo. Bravo….(geez weez, where my 45 rpm record :):)LOL)

Oh yes, you got it, the spirit of the 50´s!!! How great Gabe!! Once again you impressed me with your so nice and perfect performed song. Liked that early "Electric Organ", we called it "Pianola" in the early 60´s in Italy.... what a nice traveling back feeling: splendid vocals and background, exactely composed and performed just as we were on 1952 or 1955 listening to a juke Box!! Excellent Gabe, excellent!! :)

Dum-di-dum, classic 50's vibe there! You have it nailed from the 6/8 to the vamp chords. I forgot how much good music actually was made in the 50's, but you made me remember. Doo-wop, must find me some of that :) Well done, Gabe!

Classic 50's man. Your phrasing, the sweet and innocent lyrics...and, if i'm not mistaken, 4 part harmonies. That bass voice is ace! Great time travel!!
