Electric Honky Tonk, Classic Rock, Country, Blues,
One of my first jobs was playing honky-tonk piano at the VFW every Friday and Saturday night in the early 70's. I played there 2 years straight. I put thumb tacks on the felts to give the piano the "rink a tink" sound. Piano playing lead to keyboard synthesizers, which lead to learning midi, digital recording, DAWs, software plugins, software instruments, sound systems, lighting and more. I'm retired now after working 12 years in metal foundries and 25 years in prisons. Now it's time to play. My playing style is a mixture of classic rock, country and blues. Yep, I still play honky-tonk piano.

Lyrics
Friday night in April Around eleven Was the 26th The papers penned. In a station by the highway She was working by herself It happened then.. She lies crumpled in the shadows Of a nightmare headed southbound And she's thinking 'bout her boy Sleeping safely in his bed Back home. Jessie can you hear me? Has anybody seen her? If you have her give her back, Give a call Leave a message on the phone. Five foot one And weighs 110 Blonde hair, blue eyes. wears Wire-rimmed glasses Now and then. Her picture's On the door Of every Supermarket store in town Where has she been? She lies crumpled in the shadows Of a nightmare headed southbound And she's thinking 'bout her boy Sleeping safely in his bed Back home. Jessie can you hear me? Has anybody seen her? If you have her give her back, Give a call Leave a message on the phone. Jessie can you hear me? Has anybody seen her? Jessie can you hear me? Has anybody seen her? Jessie can you hear me? Has anybody seen her? If you have her give her back, Give a call Leave a message on the phone. If you have her give her back, Give a call Leave a message on the phone.
