Lyrics
Rainy Nights @Anthony Lee1987 Well I know you've probaby heard it all before But I still recall that final closing door And that silly little statuette and what it meant You leaving in the rain And I still remember everything that you used to say How we'd dim the lights and made love in our special way And I realise I was selfish cause you were only trying to please Oh these feelings always haunt me on rainy nights like these Do you remember how those nights would be so cold and that winter wind would chill us through the clothing that we wore And it rained so quickly we missed our bus and we had to both run home And I held your hand and god I loved you so Chorus The rain it seems to tap my sentiments again My thoughts start flowing like the ink inside my pen If I could tell you how I loved you could we start all over again Do you remember how those nights would be so cold and that winter wind would chill us through the clothing that we wore And it rained so quickly we missed our bus and we had to both run home And I held your hand and god I loved you so Chorus The rain it seems to tap my sentiments again My thoughts start flowing like the ink inside my pen If I could tell you how I loved you could we start all over again Well I know you've probably heard it all before But then I hope one day you'll hear these words and know just who there for
